Overview

Research for Humanity is a digital platform concept designed to collect genetic information and electronic medical records (EMR) from volunteers to accelerate global medical research. The website was created to educate users, build trust, and make data donation approachable by framing it as a charitable, life-saving contribution.

I was responsible for designing the full multi-page site, including informational content, donation workflows, and research project showcases.

Challenges

• Handling sensitive subject matter and personal data with clarity and empathy

• Designing an intuitive donation workflow for users unfamiliar with genetic data sharing

• Maintaining a warm, approachable brand tone for a highly technical and ethical topic

• Structuring content-heavy pages without overwhelming users
